norma winstone uses her voice like an instrument in this concert, very pure singing that just seems to float on and on. everytime i listen to her, i ask myself why i don’t listen to her more. music like this always seems very contemplative to me, and the danger listening to it is that your mind will wander & you’ll end up missing it, floating away, which is not such a bad thing, and if you drift off… well, that’s the finest sleep available.
