well, i hadn’t really planned on this one. i was listening to ibiza 2014 from the old discopolis recordings, and really enjoyed muriel grossman’s concert. and then it fed right into the next concert, by susana sheiman, which i also really enjoyed. and then i looked to see what other shows by grossman or sheiman i might find, answer being a nice show by susana sheiman from 2012. well, fortunately i had the sense to stop before i went completely down the rabbit hole, as this sort of thing can rapidly escalate. though i do need to go back to look for more muriel grossman… she is super! anyway, the outcome of all of this is these three shows, leading off with muriel grossman & then susana sheiman at the 2014 eivissa jazzfest in ibiza, then, as a little dessert, a 2014 show by susana sheiman. links and (if i get to it) samples are all together at the bottom of this post. also, in case you’re wondering, no, i was not able to find websites or much of anything for most of the musicians. finally, these are in mp3 format, somewhat unusually for this site.
