here’s a little more hammond b3 that’s been lurking on my drives for around 6 years, from sam salomone / sam anthony.  you can find out a bit about sam salomone from the central iowa blues society, including that he was inducted into the iowa jazz hall of fame.   ‘scooter123’ shared this in a folder labelled 1974-1975, but the info file said just 1974, so  i wonder if this is a compliation.  btw, i’ve reencoded the flac files.

tapers notes:

god bless sam salomone, for without him i may not have discovered jazz and jimmy smith. he played
a hammond b3 with pedles and a leslie of course. he was joined by frank tribble and tommy gordon.
this trio was joined by ella ruth pigee. they were the house band at a dump of a place called
ernie’s urban lounge. stemzie hunter of the electric flag joined them on sax, so they were really
a quartet, but whose counting. sam also got me into taping every concert i ever saw, no matter what
because if you don’t tape it, its only a memory.

the track list is mostly jazz standards, and i can’t recall them, so help me out with the titles of
the tracks.

update december 2018:

the flac files would not play in foobar2000. i tested them several ways, finding nothing wrong with
them… except that foobar2000 wouldn’t play. using tlh, i decoded and re-encoded (flac 5) the files.
i also created new ffp and md5 checksum files. in principle, the music should be identical to that
in the original flacs.
